103 as a sophomore, 112 as a junior, and 119 as a senior. I never made it to state but I came close my senior year. I was the 2005-2006 WSWCA 4A 112 lb Academic State Champ... shows how big of a nerd I am. I wasn't that great of a wrestler but I gave it my all when I was wrestling. **2005-06 Team Captain

Coaches' Memories
John Michael Daniel has left many great memories with the coaches at Kentwood. One of our better memories was his match-clinching win against Kentlake at the first annual Cov-Town Throw Down. John Michael was a team captain and was a leader by example both on and off the mat. He was a positive influence on the team and took on his role as team captain like a champion. The coaching staff knows that John Michael will be successful in anything he chooses to do, and we look forward to seeing him return to Kentwood to help future classes of KW wrestlers. -Coach Ken Sroka, Kendall Anderson, and John Anderson
