10th grade: Breaking my thumb or
fingers numerous times and always having to wrestle with a
handicap. Also found out how hard wrestling was, and how
easy it was to get ring worm... Definitely sets you straight
on keeping good hygiene. Almost quit like some did, but
thanks to the best coaches I've ever known, that was never a
possibility.
11th grade: Finally good enough to
wrestle on varsity. Plus not having Matt Boyovich as a
contender helped, haha.
12th grade: After my third year of
wrestling, I gained a lot of new skills, friends, and
maturity. Experiencing so many man-making trials was
detrimental to where I am now. Coach Sroka and Anderson were
wonderful role models. Always looked up to them. Sroka a
little more so because of the Polish factor. Of course haha.
As far as my success in wrestling
goes...
-Voted most valuable JV wrestler
2000-2001 -Voted most improved wrestler 2002-2003 -Was on
the list for most escapes with 36 but that didn't last too
long I guess.
Tournaments participated in:
-Blaine(6th Place)
-PAC Coast
-Highline
-Everett Classic(4th place)
-Ellensburg (Honorable mention I
believe it was...) -Sub-Regionals |
