Notes: 15th year coaching and teaching Special Education at Kentwood.  Wrestled collegiately at Triton JC where he was an All-American, and finished up wrestling at Central Washington University where injuries ended both seasons prematurely. Has been recognized as a "Coach Who Makes a Difference" by the King-5 Sports Blitz television show.  SPSL Head Coach of the Year in 2006-07 and 2007-08.  Has coached 38 State Placers, 13 State Finalists, and 8 State Champions at Kentwood.

Assistant Coaches:

Kendall Anderson- Former Kentwood Captain and State Placer.  2003-04 and 2006-07 SPSL Assistant Coach of the Year.  13th year coaching at KW.  Special Education teacher and Assistant Football Coach at Todd Beamer H.S. in Federal Way.

John Anderson- Former Kentwood Captain and State Participant.  Head JV Football Coach.  2007-08 SPSL Assistant Coach of the Year.  Kentwood History teacher.  9th year coaching at KW, 13th year coaching wrestling overall. 

Jarrett Tomalin- Former Kentwood Captain and State Finalist.  6th year coaching at KW.  Recently graduated from the University of Washington.

Ruben Navejas- Kent Cougar Wrestling Head Coach.  6th year coaching at KW. 

Steve Meyers- Mattson Middle School Head Coach.  4th year coaching at KW.

Thomas Harto- Former Kentwood State Placer.  2nd year coaching at KW.

Rodger Berlin- 1st year coaching at KW.
